Read Lynn’s Story

A certified RDA and CDA, Lynn Barritt has worked across the country in the dentistry field, with orthodontists and dental surgeons. She considers dentistry to be significant in her life, and in the lives of her family members.

Lynn has been a patient of Dr. Leigh Philbrick’s for about 10 years. Her mother was his patient, and her husband, one of her sons, his wife, and their children are current patients. Dr. Philbrick has completed successful restorative work for her husband and daughter-in-law.

“To me, Dr. Philbrick is just perfect – thoughtful, unassuming, detailed,” she said. “I am thrilled to be a patient in this practice.”

After awhile, Lynn needed to have her mouth guard readjusted. She said Dr. Philbrick  took the time to make it right for her, and she never felt rushed. Then, he would not allow her to pay for the service.

“That’s how conscientious he is,” Lynn said. “He is quite an exception and not very common to run into in any profession today.”

She also said the office staff and hygienists do an “excellent job,” and that there never seems to be any tension in the office.

“The hygienists alleviate any anxiety you may have about going to the dentist. From making you feel comfortable to asking if you need anything, they are caring and kind to the patients and to each other,” Lynn said.

The office staff have been considerate and flexible, she added, when she has needed to change an appointment. She also has the impression that all of the dentists are very compatible and get along like good friends.

Lynn said she would never switch dentists.

“You’d have to go a long way to find a practice that is so well run and takes such good care of their patients,” she said. “I’ve never found anyone on their level.”
